Storage Tanks

Smith Industries builds monogrammed and non-monogrammed storage tanks to API 12F and 12D specifications, in sizes ranging from 20 bbl to 1,500 bbl. Tanks are rolled, welded, blasted, coated and inspected in our own facility, then delivered and set by our trucking division.

Overview

About our storage tanks

Tanks are built to API 12F and 12D specs and can be supplied monogrammed or non-monogrammed depending on your requirements.

Current production covers capacities from 20 bbl through 1,500 bbl, fabricated from steel plate rolled and welded in-house so schedule, weld quality and coating standards stay under one roof.

Tanks are blasted indoors with steel shot to prepare the surface for exterior paint and internal coating (lining).

Two indoor coat and paint shops are temperature controlled to aid application and cure time.

Smith Industries can deliver and set finished tanks with our own knuckleboom trucks, so production is scheduled against your set date rather than a third-party hauler's availability.
